The toy industry is a sector that is growing rapidly. Along with the domestic industry, there is a huge market for toys and gaming around the world. Only 20% of the demand for toys in the country is met locally. At a time when the Modi government is moving rapidly towards a self-reliant India, the toy industry has also been targeted to be self-supporting and globally competitive.
